Our Approach
Our organization uses both literature and multi sensory experiences to expose children to the diverse world around them, and to allow them to explore and celebrate their own unique story.
Generation WE uses two thoughtful channels to reach children ages 2-15, Stories of Belonging (literature) and Voices of Belonging (interactive experiences). Together, these programs encourage children to embrace the power of storytelling and to foster connection, understanding, and empathy.
We believe everyone should have access to our books and workshops. To make this happen, we partner with organizations that support marginalized communities, ensuring that anyone who wants to access our resources can do so. You can also request a book or workshop donation by clicking here.
Generation WE provides school age children with literature that represents our many differences. By providing children with stories to explore diversity, we create awareness and plant the seed of understanding and empathy.
We work with artists and authors to create multi sensory experiences that allow children to explore diverse stories in a tangible way. Our workshops are created so that children have an opportunity to not only learn about differences, but to express their own unique voice and story through art, storytelling and creation.
